Liz is the Chief of Alliances at PRF. The Alliances Team is focused on forming strong alliances to create social change.
Liz’s role is to identify and support alliances across at least three parties with a shared purpose to help end disadvantage. These parties may include peer philanthropists, the for-purpose sector, government and/or business. Liz brings over 35 years experience working in the Community sector in both large and small not-for-profit organisations spanning health, education and community services. Prior to joining Paul Ramsay Foundation Liz was the CEO at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre leading the delivery of services in homelessness, aged care and targeted early intervention, as well as major community events like Newtown Festival. She has been actively involved in policy and advocacy to change the housing system as Chair of Shelter NSW.
Liz has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Masters in Adult Education.
Liz is committed to ensuring the voices and perspectives of people and communities with lived experience and expertise are central to our thinking and actions if we are to achieve better social outcomes.
In her spare time Liz loves walking, cycling, attempting to play ukulele and most importantly, spending quality time with family and friends.
