Welcome

Domestic and family violence (DFV) impacts all members of a family, and repeated patterns of violence have cumulative, intergenerational effects. For effective recovery, long-term, trauma-informed approaches are required to reduce the likelihood of children repeating behaviours witnessed into their own adulthood.

No one service, sector, or system can provide the support families need to navigate and recover from the impact of DFV, and so the Strengthening Family-Centred Collaborations grants are designed to support collaborations that operate across services and sectors, focusing on improving the provision of whole-of-family support and long-term stability.

The Collaborations

We will fund 17 collaborations across WA, NT and QLD, working with First Nations families, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families, children under 12, and pregnant women. Learn more about the collaborations here.
