About the Fellowship
Role and impact of AI/automation on First Nations economies
Kyle’s fellowship will investigate the future impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation on First Nations economies. By examining the role of AI in enhancing economic activities, he aims to identify strategies for growth and cultural preservation, as well as identify key risks. Research questions include the influence of AI on traditional practices and necessary policy measures for equitable integration. Utilising literature reviews, interviews, surveys, and case studies, this research will provide actionable policy recommendations to support economic self-determination and sustainable development in First Nations communities.
